Week 9

It was raining today. I'd have loved to take photos outside but I haven't got anyone to help me or model for me. I'm feeling a little uninspired.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to post next weekend because I'm down in Melbourne for Soundwave. I don't even want to bring my camera with me. I suppose I'll see how it goes.

Until then,

Week 8

I finally got around to asking my lovely friend, Lauren, to let me take photos of her. We headed out to an oval near my place just before the sun started setting. I loved the colours of the scene... Lauren's beautiful blue hair, the lush green oval, the pale blue sky and the cotton white clouds.

I also updated my website with Lauren now on the front page!

Hope everyone's well,

Update

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Life's been throwing all sorts of ups and downs at me so it's been some time since I've felt steady enough to sit and think straight. Over the last two months I've done some soul-searching and reevaluate-your-life sort of thinking. I'm trying to figure things out. When a Flickr friend of mine (Tyler Ferg) approached me to join him and several other photographers from around the world in undertaking Project 52, I knew I had to. Ever since finishing Project365 last year I knew I'd have to do something similar this year. I need something steady and consistent to keep me sane through the year... A tedious third year of university meant that Project365 wasn't really an option.

So here are the first 7 weeks of Project52, the year so far.
New friends, familiar places and vulnerable self-portraits.

Week two: (flickr)

Week three: (flickr)

Week seven: (flickr)

As per usual, new uploads will be posted at Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/dmartinie
Follow the progress of the group also shooting Project52 here:  http://projectfiftytwo2012.blogspot.com.au/

I've also placed some 20x30cm coloured/monochrome prints up for purchase in my Etsy store. At the moment I can only ship within Australia, so I apologise to my international followers! They range from $15 to $40 with free postage. Check it out: http://www.etsy.com/shop/danielefrancesca

Until next time,

Danièle
